Counselling Fees

Our Fees

Counselling can be a very rewarding and empowering journey, however it is often  challenging and requires commitment and dedication from both you and your counsellor. As well as the time and emotional investment essential to successful therapy, there is also a financial commitment to consider.

 

Our fees for counselling therapy are:

 

Individual Sessions

Initial Consultation                          £35.00

Each 50 minute session thereafter     £40.00

 

Telephone Counselling

Initial Consultation                          £30.00

Each 50 minute session thereafter     £35.00

 

Payment

Payment for Individual sessions can be made by cheque or cash at the end of each session.

Payment for Telephone Counselling can be made by cheque or via Paypal and are payable in advance. 

Receipts can be provided on request.

 

Cancellations

We require a minimum of 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend your counselling session, otherwise you will still be liable to pay the fee for the missed counselling session.

 

Holidays

We do not expect you to pay for any sessions during a notified holiday break, however we do require at least 2 weeks notice of any holidays.

Low Income Concessions

We are able to offer a limited number of reduced-cost counselling sessions for the unemployed, people in low income households and students.

 

Reduced-cost counselling fees are calculated on a sliding scale depending on your individual circumstances.

 

Reduced-Cost Individual Sessions

Initial Consultation                         from £15.00

Each 50 minute session thereafter    from £20.00

 

Reduced-Cost Telephone Counselling

Initial Consultation                         from £15.00

Each 50 minute session thereafter    from £20.00

 

Reduced-cost concessions are available for up to 12 weekly sessions depending on the nature of your emotional difficulty and the availability of the counsellor.

 

Since there are only a limited number of reduced-cost counselling sessions available, it may be necessary to join the waiting list before a session becomes available.

 

Student Concessions

Student concession fees are available for as long as you remain in full time eduction and there is no limit on the number of sessions you may have.

Please be aware that you will be asked to provide evidence to demonstrate you are eligible for reduced-cost counselling support.
