Maggie is a member of the BACP and has a BSc. (Hons.) degree in Integrative Counselling. Maggie has worked extensively with clients aged 16 and upwards, supporting a wide range of emotional issues such as anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, childhood trauma, bullying and emotional and physical abuse. Maggie’s approach integrates the theory and understanding of psychodynamic, person-centred and existential teachings into her work with clients.
Martin is also a member of the BACP and has a BSc. (Hons.) degree in Integrative Counselling. Martin has extensive experience working with adult clients aged over 18 with a diverse range of problems including bereavement, depression, relationship difficulties, HIV+, sexuality, emotional and sexual abuse and suicidal thoughts. Martin integrates the interventions and techniques from the psychodynamic, person-centred and existential schools of counselling theory into his work with clients.
We currently offer counselling support from therapy rooms in Woking.
We hope to be able to offer additional locations for therapy in Guildford, Camberley, Farnborough and Bracknell in 2011.
For Individual Counselling sessions, we offer both daytime and some evening appointments, Monday to Friday, subject to counsellor availability.
For Telephone Counselling we are able to offer daytime, evening and weekend appointments, subject to counsellor availability.
As members of the BACP, Maggie and Martin abide by the BACP Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling & Psychotherapy and are subject to the BACP Professional Conduct Procedure.
